Munich was astonishingly simple, elegant city rooted with culture. While I decided to spend a majority of my time with my friends, away from the city and museums, I still had a good time capturing the essence of the city.

The city itself filled with good architecture and beautiful streets.

Englischer Garten

I was staying near a beautiful garden and we planned our evening to visit the place. The winter Sun was just right and the snow had just melted away. The leaves were still shouting autumn, but the frozen trees and silence in the garden told a different story - The winter has begun.

A bit away from the city, the garden is definitely a non-touristy place to break the travel fatigues and relax with your friends.

U-Bahn and Deutsche Bahn

Growing up in India, most of us loved the idea of travelling on trains. It's filled with experiences that are unique and you get to learn so much about the people. The experience is the same for me in the trains in and around Munich.

Regensburg

To the west of Munich, there is a small old town called Regensburg. In its heart, there is a UNESCO heritage - The Medieval Center. This beautiful town is still preserved even after getting shelled by the Allies during the War.

I was on the mission to capture the essence of Munich and to explore more of the streets and discover good Weiße beer in the city, but when I actually got down to spend time with my friends, all my desire to explore vanished and the cosy snowy winter was just right for me to sit in and enjoy the food and beer!
